Multiple Charges Laid Against Alleged Wolfpack Drug Traffickers in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside

Vancouver, B.C. – The Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC) has approved 11 counts of criminal charges, including Organized Crime-related charges, against a number of alleged Wolfpack-aligned drug traffickers as a result of a Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) investigation.

In July 2020, CFSEU-BC began an investigation into the alleged drug trafficking activities of a group of alleged Wolfpack drug traffickers operating in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. As a result, a number of suspects were identified and between October 2020 and May 2021, multiple search warrants were executed on residences at various Vancouver locations.

Seized during the investigation was:

– 7 prohibited and restricted firearms with over one thousand rounds of ammunition;
– 10 kilograms of fentanyl;
– 3 kilograms of cocaine;
– 6 kilograms of methamphetamine;
– 72 kilograms of cutting agents, including phenacetin and caffeine;
– $160,000 cash; and
– 3 vehicles

The following people have been charged:

Joseph Ebert Charles Lowley, a 39-year-old male from Vancouver, has been charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to S. 5(2) of the CDSA.

Vinod Kanna Aruldevarajan, a 27-year-old male from Vancouver, has been charged with one count each of:

o Commission of an offence for criminal organization,contrary to section 467.12(1) Criminal Code
o Conspiracy to commit indictable offence,contrary to section 465(1)(c) CriminalCode
o Trafficking in Controlled Substance,contrary to section 5 (1) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Controlled drug/Substance for th epurpose of trafficking,contrary to section 5(2)
o Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Loaded/unloadedw/ammo prohib/restricted firearm,contrary to section 95(1) Criminal Code.
o Possess non-firearm unauthorized,contrary to section 91(2) CriminalCode.
o Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act

Roger Alfredo Bardales Medina, a 30-year-old male from Burnaby, has been charged with one count each of the following offences:

o Commission of an offence for criminal organization, contrary to section 467.12(1) Criminal Code
o Conspiracy to commit indictable offence, contrary to section 465(1)(c) Criminal Code
o Trafficking in Controlled Substance, contrary to section 5(1) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possession of a loaded/unloaded w/ammo prohibited/restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(1) Criminal Code
o Possess non-firearm unauthorized, contrary to section 91(2) Criminal Code
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act

Hemen Hewa Saed, a 30-year-old male from Vancouver, has been charged with one count each of the following offences:

o Commission of an offence for criminal organization, contrary to section 467.12(1) Criminal Code
o Conspiracy to commit indictable offence, contrary to section 465(1)(c) Criminal Code
o Trafficking in Controlled Substance, contrary to section 5(1) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act

Diego Maradona Saed, a 23-year-old male from New Westminster, has been charged with one count each of the following offences:

o Commission of an offence for criminal organization, contrary to section 467.12(1) Criminal Code.
o Conspiracy to commit indictable offence, contrary to section 465(1)(c) Criminal Code
o Trafficking in Controlled Substance, contrary to section 5(1) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possession of a Loaded/unloaded w/ammo prohib/restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(1) Criminal Code
o Possess non-firearm unauthorized, contrary to section 91(2) Criminal Code
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act

Howjeen Saed, a 27-year-old male from Vancouver, is charged with one count each of the following offences:

o Commission of an offence for criminal organization, contrary to section 467.13(1) Criminal Code
o Commission of an offence for criminal organization, contrary to section 467.12(1) Criminal Code
o Conspiracy to commit indictable offence, contrary to section 465(1)(c) Criminal Code
o Trafficking in Controlled Substance, contrary to section 5(1) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possession of a Loaded/unloaded w/ammo prohib/restricted firearm, contrary to section 95(1) Criminal Code
o Possess non-firearm unauthorized, contrary to section 91(2) Criminal Code.
o possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act
o Possessing a Controlled Drug/Substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) Controlled Drugs And Substances Act

Diego Saed, Joseph Lowley and Roger Bardales Medina have not been located and are currently wanted on warrants in relation to their charges. If anyone has any information in connection to the location of Diego Saed, Joseph Lowley or Roger Bardales Medina, please contact your local police or Crime Stoppers.
